In the September 2008 USDF Connection, CPF was listed as a

TOP 10 Breeder of six or more 'Great American Insurance Group/USDFBC' Series Finalists, 1998-2007!

Nirvana is a well balanced, modern type Dutch mare, standing 16.2 h. She is the image of her sire, Fleming who has competed successfully in Europe and the United States at the Grand Prix level. This well respected stallion is approved not only with the KWPN, but also with the Holsteiner, Oldenburg Verband, and ISR registries. Her dam, Vendela is an imported mare from the strong jumping lines of Calypso I. Vendela’s offspring have been in the KWPN Top Ten and are winners in breed shows as well as dressage competitions. As a youngster, Nirvana competed in Devon on the line and was Top Ten with the NAWPN as a two year old.

We purchased Nirvana as a three year old for our breeding program. She has proven to be a top notch producer, giving us nine outstanding youngsters: Signature, Undercover, Versailles, Westar, Zabella, Arlington, Belize, Caravaggio, Django, and Eragon.  She stamps them with her lovely long neck, sculptured face, and a temperament second to none.

In the September 2008 USDF Connection Magazine, Nirvana was ranked in the Top 10 of Dams Producing Three or More 'Great American Insurance Group/USDFBC Series' Grand Champions and Reserve Grand Champions for the years 1998-2007!

At the September 2004 kuering, Nirvana received a First Premium and her "Ster Predicate" ranking.  The jury awarded her a 73 for conformation and a 70 for movement.  She has been such an outstanding producer for us, we were pleased to have the jury's stamp of approval.

O'Jazzie MW is a partnership mare with our good friend Dr. Debbie Davenport.  This handsome mare is a great addition to our program.  Jazz is a large (16.3+), big bodied mare which will allow us to consider some of the more modern type stallions.

O’Jazzie is an imported dark bay Dutch ster mare.  Jazz is fully approved for Dutch and Hanoverian breeding.  In October 2004, Jazz received top honors and was recognized as the Mid-States USDF/Cosequin Mature Mare Champion.  During the 2003 NAWPN keuring tour, she was named to the NAWPN’s Top 10 in movement (2nd) and jumping (7th).  At her 2003 AHS keuring, she was Champion Non-Hanoverian mare and won the Mare Performance Test with an 8.22 (3rd highest score in US) receiving scores of 9 for jumping (scope and technique) and 8 for rideability.  Jazz has also been shown successfully on the line qualifying for the Regional Finals at her first show in 2003 after being named Reserve Mare Reserve Mature Horse Champion.

We were recently notified that O'Jazzie holds the honor of being the highest scoring non-Hanoverian mare ever to complete the AHS Mare Performance Test (MPT). Her score of 8.11 is the highest recorded for a non-Hanoverian mare in the last 10 years. This score also puts her in the top fifteen of all mares tested (639 mares) since 1995. O'Jazzie was also recently named to the prestigious US Hanoverian Jumper Program. You can find more information about the MPT and the Jumper Program at www.hanoverian.org and in the Summer 2005 issue of The American Hanoverian magazine.
